Thank you, essential workers

Millions of essential workers went to work during the lockdown. They earn lower wages and come from socio-economically disadvantaged groups. Let’s thank them one by one.

The forgotten heroes

The New York Times articles are about workers worried to return to work. The Wall Street Journal about how unemployment pays more. No one has written an article about workers who go to work. When I shop at Costco, I always thank essential workers one by one. I overheard one of them saying “wish more people did that”.
